A reader asked me if the dogs are back. I did hear they were back, about a week ago. Otherwise all is quiet. Today when I passed the house I once again searched for the hoards of paps Kate described as being outside her door every day when she was on DWTS, and there was not a soul in sight. No paps, no fans, no nothing. Now Kate is off DWTS and the paps will no doubt lay off until she or Jon do something new to draw attention to themselves. The only "sign" suggesting that anyone even vaguely resembling anything like a star might be anywhere near the vicinity of Wernersville was this weatherworn momento, laying forlorn in the grass in front of Casa Gosselin.Wednesday, April 21, 2010

WG -I feel anger and sorrow that the dogs are back. When kate forced Jon to "get rid of them" all these months ago I had been really hopeful that they had found their loving forever home. When Kate announced a few months ago that they would be coming back in a few months, I was very disappointed to realize that they have been at the breeders kennel all of these months. Terrible, IMO.
I would think that if the dogs were back, we'd see pictures of them frollicking with the kids on Radaronline. That's how TLC runs her. I never understood why they gave them back to begin with. If those dogs were a part of the family, you wouldn't just disgard them because it was inconvenient to have them around. Geez, the woman has multiple nannies and a housekeeper, so surely she could have hired someone to take care of the dogs. Personally, I hope the dogs have found a new family.
I've driven past a few times and haven't seen the dogs, but I am disgusted to hear that they've been kenneled for months. That is an absolutely unacceptable way to treat animals that might have been able to find a healthy home elsewhere. Disgusted? Yes. Surprised? No. I guess dogs are just more things to be moved around at someone's convenience.
BTW, I think the only reason Kate flew the kids to LA and had them photographed at Disney was to counteract any claims by Jon that DWTS was taking up too much of her time from the kids. From the pap photos taken of her sourpuss face and the report that she left early because annoyed with fans bothering her (I bet that was exaggerated), I think she has little desire to spend time with the kids anyway; the nannies were the ones with them at the hotel pool. Frankly it is shameful that the kids were taken out of school just to be paraded around like show dogs.
WG, what in the world is going on with Jon Gosselin? He fired Attorney List and says he never wanted full custody!!! He is now working with Kate's attorney and wants a job in TV, as a co-host?!!! Is this for real? Check out your link to 15 Minutes, Gosselin Style. Every time I think there's light at the end of the tunnel, there's a new twist and turn. If true, this guy is way more corrupted than Kate because Kate is at least honest about her ambition.

Do you KNOW the dogs were "kenneled" for months? No, you don't. The breeded looked like he had dogs roaming freely as well as kennels. My belief is he took the dogs back for some training that Kate or Jon wouldn't do themselves. Come on WG, stick to the facts. Don't assume you know something to be true when you don't. There is plenty of factual stuff to keep you busy.

Anon, maybe you could share where you got your info on the dogs from? I seem to recall the kids being upset that the dogs were gotten rid of a few months back, and there was no news about it being temporary or for training which it seems Kate's camp would have mentioned, since that would have made her look less heartless. And trainers usually work with dogs and their owners, not the dogs alone, because many trainers believe it is the owners who need the training, not the dogs. Kate left for NY on Thursday, not Wednesday, right? She had Regis and Kelly this morning.
I wonder how you know the dogs were in a kennel. That really wouldn't make sense, would it? The breeder said he was taking the dogs back indefinitely but temporarily for training. Here is the link with quotes and his name. The guy seems pretty nice. We should not disparage him just because he sold dogs to the Gosselins. That's not fair.

Thanks for that link, Mocha. It's hard to know what to believe. Radar online is owned by the Enquirer, and they use that site to scoop other tabs because it's quicker to put it online than wait for the weekly hard copy to come out. My source, who worked for one of theweekly magazines last summer, got a quote from Jon in October saying that the dogs were definitely not coming back, and that Nala was going to be a police dog and Shoka was going to a family. But who knows. I'm so disgusted that I barely believe anything anymore. Supposedly the diogs are back now but has anyone actually seen them? (I haven't looked online so I don't know.)
Radar had those pictures with Jon playing with the kids out front---if the dogs were back, don't you think they'd be outside with the kids? What a great photo op. Obviously, the dogs are NOT back. The rumor was most likely started by Kate's PR. And this is really paranoid, but I wouldn't put it past TLC to introduce some new dogs into those kids' lives, you know, something smaller for mommie dearest. Yuk.
