When the Gosselins moved here I'd never seen J&K+8 and didn't get what the fuss was all about. As time has gone on I've become more aware of how unreal this "reality" show really was. I've worked for children's rights for years and totally missed the boat on this one. I never realized that children in reality TV are exploited as much as, if not more than, children in other forms of entertainment. Now I know. I believe that Kate has the right to follow her entertainment dreams but she should leave the kids out of it. She got famous on their wings: Now it's time for her to fly on her own. The kids have grown up their entire lives under the cameras. Now they should be allowed to enjoy the remainder of their childhoods camera-free, while they still have some childhoods left.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I have to admit I've never really gotten the hair extensions thing. If you have short hair one day and long the next, everyone knows you've got fake hair on your head, right? So what's the point?
But one thing I do know about them is they're very expensive, and of course Kate will accept only the best. It's another example of her having high, expensive standards while moaning about her baby-feeding worries. No doubt that head cost more than most people - including many parents of multiple children, make in a week. Of course, knowing her, she probably got it as a freebie.
The other thing is, there she is on the cover of a magazine, this time posed intentionally, while continuing to bemoan the paparazzi. It's been said ad nauseum Kate, you can't have it both ways.
What's next in the beauty department? She already has fake boobs, stomach, hair color, teeth and allegedly a butt lift. Can anal bleaching be far behind? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anal_bleaching
I can't wait for the day when the paps catch Kate with her new "glue-on" hair looking a mess.
I don't think Kate will have the patience to style it or maintain it. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the kids running around the front yard with a giant clump of Kate's busted weave.
It does not suit her at all. Too long, too blonde. She looks silly, like a 'wannabe' starlet. Kate needs something more structured- not necessarily the possum cut but something a bit more styled and defined.

I like long hair - but I don't like the long hair on Kate. I am def NOT a Kate fan, but the possum style actually suited her; not being snarky, she looked GOOD in that particular cut. She got a lot of razzing over it, but it was "her" and she looked good. This is just BLAH on her. And I agree w/ whoever said it makes her look like a "wannabe" ...
She look like Dog the Bounty Hunter if he went on a diet and stopped the steroids. And was a nasty beeotch!
She now simply blends in..... She no longer stands out. Her hair was her trademark and it looked good on her. Now? Well... She looks like any other soccer mom.... who doesn't allow her kids to playu soccer.
LOL Oh my.... and I thought at the age of 59 I've heard pretty much of everything. Anal bleaching! What a pretty sight that must make for the poor technician doing the deed. Hope they get a BIG tip.

The housing market is so poor here that I'm surprised it sold that quickly. The pictures have been removed but here's the listing.

The pictures are probably gone because it sold. The Gosselins bought it in 2006 for $260,000 and it was listed in early spring 2009 for $325,000. I don't know what it sold for but I remember hearing Kate thought it should go high because she thought lots of people would love to live in a famous family's house. It had 5 bedrms and 2.5 baths and was on about 1/3 acre.
Anal bleaching...pretty sad, huh? Kinda like penis enlargements and vagina reductions. Why can't we just be happy with the bodies god and nature give us, and accept our individual differences as well as the natural changes that occur through the life span? But no, everyone's gotta go frickin' Human Barbie on us.
